I was looking for some info online about lighting as my husband is going to repair some fixtures and when I typed it into my search engine the video link for a song by Reba McEntire came out. I use to listen to this song all the time and had forgotten about it. I love Reba’s voice and this song so I thought I would share it with you.

Taylor Hicks on Mix 97.1

Taylor Hicks is touring with the Broadway production of Grease. He is playing Teen Angel. Right now Taylor is in Columbus Ohio at the Palace Theater. The last performance is Sunday Dec, 21 at 6:30 p.m. The other day Taylor was on the radio with Mix 97.1 The video of the interview is below.

Michael Jackson is a singer who in his time before all the let’s call it “controversy”. I won’t get into the did he or didn’t he argument. The simple fact is Michael Jackson put on amazing live shows. He packed the concert arena where ever he was. He could choreograph the best dance show with his music of anyone I have seen.

The man had the voice and the dance talent to command attention and he did. The audience’s were completely enthralled in the “live” performance that Michael Jackson was putting on for them. So today I want to share some of my favorite live Michael Jackson performances.

Grease Tour Starring Taylor Hicks Starts Today

On Live Mic I love to focus on the artists that thrive on the “Live” experience of entertaining a crowd. One such artist is Taylor Hicks. If you have not seen Taylor Hicks live and in person than you have not seen the real Taylor Hicks. Taylor loves performing in front of the audience he feeds off the energy supplied by the audience and they thrive off of him. It is win-win.

Taylor is not doing a concert tour at the moment however the national tour of the fifties-themed musical Grease, which Taylor Hicks starred in as “Teen Angel” this past summer in the Broadway production at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, launches today at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, RI.

I have yet to see Taylor in the Teen Angel role, however those who saw Grease this past summer give Taylor as Teen Angel and the entire show a complete thumbs up. Taylor Hicks has took the role of Teen Angel and made it his own. The tour will stop near me Dec.16th- the 21st and I can’t wait to see it.
